WE ARE FAMILY

People are connected. Sometimes by blood. Sometimes in relationships. Sometimes through prayer. Who holds you up? Who do you hold up? Who do you care for? Who cares for you? Who do you love and they love you right back? These are precious bonds we create. To give and to take. Those WHO make you selfless and those who you turn to when YOU are vulnerable. Think of those that represent this broader definition of family. PAUSE.

Who did you think of? Are they people in your life that make you the person you are today and encourage you to be an even better version of yourself tomorrow? My "family" from which I was born is the reason why and how I am here today. Extremely close relations bond us together and for that I am forever thankful. My family holds me up and encourages my efforts towards leading people through fitness and wellness. I also have a loving boyfriend who is the most selfless, genuine, and comforting boy I have ever met. Expand your definition of family out to your community. Consider your friends, workout buddies, church members, and neighbors.

If we release the borders of the word "family" we can positively impact others. Making each other strong. Always looking for growth. Keeping each other healthy and happy. I believe God had a plan when he put us all together on this earth. I challenge you to lift up those in your family, tell them what they mean to you. Reflect. Be thankful each and every day for the people that make up your life.
