The finer things in lfe are better when they are shared.

It seems not too long ago, Kate and I were running our typical afternoon 6 miler around the UGA campus.

We ran often and I felt as I was in the best shape of my life. 6 miles sounded impressive to my collegues. Only few of my friends knew I was actually running with Kate on her second run of the day. She liked to get in 6 before the sun came up. Everyday. Her dedication and strength was something I always admired. I knew back then she was going to accomplish great things.

Well here we are 7 some odd years later and we finally got to catch up this morning with a 6 miler around Chastain. It was just like old times. We had kept up with each other through occasional messages and facebook where I would see pictures of her doing ULTRA marathons (for all those that aren't into running that is any race OVER 26.2 miles)!

Two days ago she did an 8 HOUR race! I'm telling you she is INCREDIBLE! However, I've always known she was capable of the seemingly impossible. It's in her blood. Her passion for setting goals and getting them done is a trait to be revered.

Do you have people from your past who have made an impact on you? People who have encouraged you in some way to go after something great?

Where is that person now? Have you told them about the role they have played in your life's story?

I challenge you to take the time TODAY and let those people know. I also challenge you to be that encourager to someone else.

Keep the dreams alive. Keep those kind of people in your life. Those that support you and encourage you.

What are you waiting for? Get out there and GO!
