I wrote this blog last fall (September 2010) and it reminds me how thankful we should be for our health.

Prioritize what matters and what does not.

55 degrees. Loyal clients. Able body. I was blessed this morning--awesome weather, amazing clients, healthy body.

For those of you who have not yet experienced one of my classes, I always end my workouts with a happy message to send my clients walking away feeling like they reconnect with what really matters.

Today's message on courage reminded us courage can take us out of our comfort zones. Even if you are not currently being tested with a challenge or see your life as ordinary, this is your preparation time.

Hard times--they tend to come eventually.

Through physical training (sometimes you think you can't make it through the workout), emotional and spiritual times of growth, we have to be prepared.

Courage is built through your experiences.

To quote Lynn Smith after she swam the English Channel, "It's pain. You have to just quit fighting it and get used to being uncomfortable. If you fight the discomfort, you give it more power." (For more motivation click here)

My clients had the courage this morning to get up before sunrise and succeed at overcoming today's workout. They had courage. I was so proud of them! I'll leave you with this verse, "Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be me and women of courage; be strong. Do everything in love!" 1 Corinthians 16:13-14
