FPD Fitness Challenge

Any time I can GIVE BACK to someone or something that has positively influenced my life, I consider it to be a wonderful blessing! Through December I am working with some current students at my former high school in Macon, GA First Presbyterian Day School.

The journalism staff has asked me to create individualized health and fitness programs so they can write about the world wide epidemic of obesity.

They told me they want to be "proactive about the fight against obesity by learning what they can do for themselves to keep them healthy and fit, not only for this challenge, but for the rest of their lives."

I have been eagerly creating different programs for each student according to their short term and long term goals. Their first step was to fill out a Personal Inventory Form including questions about their current and past physical activity level/participation, their willingness to commit each week, their motivations, goals, and even things that might be challenges for them as they try and stick to the program.

They have the option to meet with me once a week, I send them individual weekly workouts and nutrition information, and I also send them a group weekly e-newsletter (sign up for my encouraging and motivating Go with Greer Newsletter on the homepage: it comes out about once a month and has great savings as well as very informative health and fitness information, its FREE!). I am available for them as much as they need. Even though I am living in Atlanta I am still able to work with clients in Macon, it's the best of both worlds!

I am doing more and more online training for those that do not live in Atlanta so I can still work with you on those upcoming NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS!!

I am teaching classes in Macon through December on every Thursday evening- 5:30 yoga, 6:30 bootcamp. These classes are for all fitness levels and all ages! I also will be teaching every Friday morning (yes, even Christmas Eve morning!) at 6am. I would like to continue my 9:30am class on every Friday morning too, but no one has signed up in advace yet! Please join us and try a class if you are home for the holidays! Email me: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for directions to the gym!
