ABOUT GREER

Education & Experience

Greer has trained in several hospital wellness centers, the University of Georgia Recreation Center, large and small training studios, and developed boot camp and race training programs.

Atlanta's Biggest Loser

Greer was a trainer for Atlanta’s Biggest Loser Couples competition. For 12 weeks Greer worked with her team, motivating and educating them on how to work out efficiently by doing exercises that burn maximum calories and learning to eat foods that are nutritiously dense instead of calorically dense. Her winner lost 46lbs in only 12 weeks!

Greer’s Story

Following three life-threatening ankle surgeries in 2008, Greer lived six months of her life in a bed. She was unsure if she would ever walk again. As a result of over-running without a focus on injury prevention or strength training, a tendon in her ankle snapped.
Greer’s extremely active lifestyle (four varsity sports, competitive road racing, and college intramural sports) was the only way of living she had ever known. Months of physical therapy in an arthritic pool put her back to the remedial stages of relearning how to walk, one painful step at a time.

Throughout her recovery, she discovered her passion for encouraging and empowering others to lead healthy lifestyles. She received her graduate degree in Public Health and was thrilled to open her own mobile fitness training company, Go With Greer in January of 2010.

Greer recently had massive hip reconstruction surgery (January 2015) due to a congenital hip problem, called adult hip dysplasia, which caused progressive and debilitating pain. This excruciating recovery gave her a two year perspective on chronic pain. She learned many techniques to deal with muscular pain and imbalances through her diagnosis phase and most recently throughout her recovery that she plans to incorporate with her clients.

Life’s challenges take a toll on us mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It is so critical to get up and GO, not letting our obstacles hold us back. I challenge you to GO with me today. It doesn’t matter how fast you go, so long as you’re going.
