About

I'm thankful everyday for my health! In 2008, I faced the possibility of losing my left foot following an infection from multiple ankle surgeries. Overtraining for a marathon caused a tear in my ankle and allowed me to overcome my first big hurdle in life. I'm so thankful for the lessons I learned through that period of inactivity as it empowered me to get healthy again and pursue a career in teaching others how to take care of their bodies.

I was running too many miles without rest and without cross-training.

Today, I LOVE educating others, through proper exercise prescription, on how to live healthy, active lives.

I also love TEACHING BOOTCAMP because it combines agility, injury prevention, cardio, bodyweight, yoga, and pilates all into ONE workout!

Pre-surgery: my first phase of life

I was born to move! At an early age I competed in gymnastics and then I went on to play four varsity sports in high school. Chad McDaniel, my high-school cross country coach, played an essential role in my love affair with running. I increased my mileage in college and competed in tons of road races ranging from 5ks-half marathons. To date, I have completed 9 half-marathons (6 of them post-surgery!). Running is my passion!!!

I graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.B.A. and an M.P.H. in Health Promotion and Behavior. I also became a Certified Personal Trainer through NSCA.

I reside and work in the Buckhead area of Atlanta. The city is a big change as I am a small town girl at heart, but my goal is to inspire as many people as I can to get up and "GO!"

I provide the following services and label myself as a "mobile fitness trainer"
I COME TO YOU! : In-home Personal Training, Diet Counseling, Small Group Training, Race Training, Toning, Pain Relief, Yoga, Pilates, and Core Work.
